Job Summary
LEGSGO Holidays is looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Travel Consultants to join its growing team in Chennai. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals who are passionate about travel, enjoy interacting with customers, and are interested in building a long-term career in the travel and tourism industry.
As a Travel Consultant, you will handle travel inquiries, understand customer requirements, recommend suitable domestic and international holiday packages, and convert leads into confirmed bookings through effective communication and timely follow-ups.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Consultation & Holiday Planning
- Understand customer travel needs, budgets, and vacation preferences
- Provide accurate information on domestic and international destinations
- Recommend suitable holiday packages and travel solutions
- Guide customers throughout the inquiry, planning, and booking process
- Ensure professional, clear, and timely communication
Sales & Lead Conversion
- Convert inbound and outbound travel inquiries into confirmed bookings
- Handle customer interactions via calls, emails, and follow-ups
- Explain holiday package details, inclusions, and pricing clearly
- Achieve individual and team sales targets
- Maintain updated records of leads and booking status
Client Relationship Management
- Build strong and positive relationships with customers
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through personalized service
- Encourage repeat bookings and customer referrals
- Handle customer queries before and after booking completion
Coordination & System Management
- Update customer and booking details in internal systems
- Coordinate with internal teams for confirmations and operational support
- Maintain proper documentation and follow company processes
Educational Qualifications
- Any graduate or equivalent qualification (preferred)
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations
- Strong verbal communication and persuasive conversation skills
- Sales-driven mindset with lead conversion ability
- Professional client-handling and follow-up skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer engagement abilities
- Ability to analyze customer needs and recommend suitable travel solutions
- Basic computer proficiency (Email, CRM, booking records)
- Ability to manage multiple customer interactions in a fast-paced environment
