As a Travel Consultant, you will handle both domestic and international travel requirements. From understanding customer preferences and budget expectations to recommending suitable holiday packages and managing bookings, you will be involved in the complete travel coordination process. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach to ensure smooth and satisfying travel experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Consultation & Travel Planning
- Understand client travel preferences, expectations, and budget requirements
- Provide accurate information about domestic and international destinations
- Recommend suitable holiday packages, tour plans, and customized itineraries
- Guide customers on documentation, visa processes, and travel policies
Sales & Lead Conversion
- Handle travel inquiries through phone calls, emails, walk-ins, and online platforms
- Follow up regularly with potential customers to convert inquiries into confirmed bookings
- Clearly explain package inclusions, exclusions, pricing details, and payment terms
- Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall team performance
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling travel-related services
Booking & Coordination
- Coordinate with airlines, hotels, transport providers, and internal teams
- Assist in ticketing coordination and ensure booking confirmations
- Verify travel dates, pricing, and package details for accuracy
- Maintain proper booking documentation and organized travel records
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers
- Provide personalized travel solutions to ensure high satisfaction levels
- Address customer queries and resolve concerns professionally
- Maintain regular follow-up communication before and after travel
- Encourage repeat bookings and customer referrals
System & Record Management
- Update customer details and booking information in CRM systems
- Maintain accurate records of inquiries, follow-ups, payments, and confirmations
- Monitor booking progress and ensure timely service delivery
Required Skills & Competencies
