The company is currently hiring a Hotel Sales Manager to drive revenue growth across multiple properties in Tamil Nadu. This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in hotel sales, OTA distribution, and revenue management.
As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing both offline and online business segments, including corporate accounts, travel trade, MICE, and digital distribution channels.
This role combines sales strategy, digital distribution, and revenue optimization in a dynamic hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue Generation & Business Development
- Achieve revenue targets across rooms, banquets, and F&B
- Develop sales strategies for corporate, leisure, and OTA segments
- Conduct sales calls, meetings, and property visits
- Identify new business opportunities and negotiate contracts
2. Online Distribution & OTA Management
- Manage OTA platforms and digital channels
- Optimize listings, pricing, and availability
- Monitor rankings and performance
- Ensure rate parity across platforms
3. Client Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with corporate clients
- Develop new business accounts
- Manage proposals and follow-ups
- Organize networking and client engagement activities
4. Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Analyze market trends and competitor pricing
- Prepare sales reports and dashboards
- Use tools like Excel, OTA Insight, and RateGain
- Provide insights for revenue growth
5. Coordination & Collaboration
- Work with front office, reservations, and F&B teams
- Ensure smooth execution of bookings and events
- Coordinate with finance for reconciliation
- Support team development initiatives
6. Brand Standards & Compliance
- Ensure brand-aligned communication
- Maintain CRM and PMS data accuracy
- Follow ethical business practices
- Represent the brand professionally
Qualifications & Skills
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business, or Marketing
Experience
- 2–7 years in hotel sales, OTA, or revenue roles
- Experience with leading hotel brands preferred
Technical Skills
- MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- CRM and channel management systems
- Knowledge of SiteMinder, Staah, RateTiger
- PMS systems like Opera or SynXis
