As a Planning Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing Modern Trade and Digital Trade stock fulfillment, ensuring smooth supply chain operations, and improving customer satisfaction.
The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage large datasets. You will be responsible for production planning, inventory management, forecasting, and driving operational efficiency across the supply chain.
Job Purpose & Role Summary
The Planning Executive role focuses on managing stock fulfillment operations and supporting supply chain efficiency across Modern Trade and Digital Trade channels.
This role ensures effective inventory planning, demand fulfillment, and operational performance optimization while supporting data-driven decision-making through MIS and KPI tracking.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Planning & Forecasting
- Plan production for Modern Trade SKUs
- Improve forecast accuracy (MAPE%)
- Ensure product availability to meet demand
2. Order Fulfillment & Efficiency
- Maximize fill rate while minimizing turnaround time
- Execute sales orders efficiently
- Ensure timely delivery and order completion
3. Inventory Management & Optimization
- Monitor inventory levels across channels
- Maintain optimal stock levels
- Reduce ageing and obsolete inventory
4. Distribution & Cost Control
- Collaborate with logistics teams
- Optimize distribution networks
- Reduce operational costs
5. MIS Reporting & Data Analytics
- Prepare MIS reports and dashboards
- Track KPIs such as fill rate and inventory
- Analyze data for improvements
6. KPI Monitoring & Process Improvement
- Track and improve key supply chain metrics
- Automate processes where possible
- Develop agile operational solutions
Principal Accountabilities
- Ensure 95%+ fill rate performance
- Collaborate with planning and logistics teams
- Identify and resolve stock issues
- Support demand forecasting accuracy
- Create MIS dashboards and reports
- Support S&OP processes
- Improve efficiency through automation
Qualifications & Skills
Education
- Engineering Graduate preferred
Experience
- 4–5 years in supply chain or planning roles
Technical Skills
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- VBA knowledge is a plus
- Experience with analytics tools
- ERP system knowledge
