Job Summary – Account Executive
Travel Rethink Ways brings you an exciting finance career opportunity with Sterling Holiday Resorts Ltd, one of India’s fastest-growing experiential hospitality brands. The company is currently hiring an Account Executive for its premium resort located in Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand.
This role is ideal for finance professionals who are detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced in handling accounting operations within a hospitality or service environment. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
The position offers a great opportunity to work in a scenic location while gaining hands-on experience in hospitality finance operations. You will play a key role in supporting the finance team and ensuring smooth financial management at the resort.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting Operations & Record Management
- Maintain and update accounting records including ledgers, journals, and invoices
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
- Maintain proper documentation of financial records
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes
- Process vendor payments and track receivables
- Ensure timely billing and collections
3. Bank Reconciliation & Accuracy
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure financial data accuracy
- Monitor transactions regularly
4. Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Assist in preparing monthly and annual reports
- Support financial analysis
- Provide data for decision-making
5. Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and tax regulations
- Maintain audit documentation
- Stay updated on accounting standards
6. Audit Coordination
- Coordinate with auditors
- Prepare required reports and documents
- Ensure audit compliance
7. Expense Monitoring & Budget Support
- Track expenses and assist in budgeting
- Identify cost-saving opportunities
- Support financial planning
8. Payroll & Reimbursements
- Assist in payroll processing
- Handle reimbursements
- Maintain confidentiality
9. Policy Compliance
- Follow company financial policies
- Ensure transparency in operations
- Support process improvements
Qualifications & Skills
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Hospitality experience is a plus
Skills Required
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Time management ability
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of Tally or accounting tools
- MS Excel proficiency
- Financial reporting skills
