Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our operations team as Manager Operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of product and service management, operational excellence, and client satisfaction. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to manage teams and vendors effectively, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of operational efficiency.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining compliance with all company standards and procedures. You will act as a bridge between clients, vendors, and the internal team, ensuring that all service deliverables are consistently met and exceeded.

Roles & Responsibilities

Operational Expertise:

  • Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge and apply it effectively to daily operations.
  • Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are implemented and followed across all functional areas.

Team & Training Management:

  • Participate in all mandatory training sessions conducted by the head office and subsequently conduct operational training sessions for the team.
  • Ensure all team members are fully competent in operational processes and uphold the company’s service standards.

Daily Operations Oversight:

  • Oversee key operational activities such as attendance tracking, staff rostering, vendor coordination, cash management, and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain structured documentation, including escalation matrices and operational reporting formats, to ensure accountability and transparency.

Client & Vendor Relations:

  • Manage client relationships effectively, ensuring deliverables are met within defined timelines and quality parameters.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure service consistency, timely delivery, and adherence to contractual obligations.

POS & Inventory Management:

  • Provide comprehensive training to vendor staff on Point of Sale (POS) operations, app troubleshooting, and inventory management systems.
  • Ensure team members are proficient in menu planning, service etiquette, and customer communication.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Maintain detailed operational records, including Minutes of Meetings (MOM) and Monthly Management Review Sheets (MMRS).
  • Evaluate team performance regularly and provide actionable feedback to enhance productivity.

Process Improvement:

  • Continuously assess operational workflows and recommend process improvements to optimize efficiency.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective measures to streamline day-to-day activities.

Prerequisites

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably in Hotel Management or a related field.

Professional Skills:

  • Excellent command over written and spoken English.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Sound understanding of operational management systems, particularly in hospitality or service-oriented industries.

Personal Attributes:

  • Keen attention to detail, hygiene, grooming, and workplace safety.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to manage teams effectively.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to fast-paced environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills to interact confidently with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Technical & Service Knowledge:

  • A solid foundation in food and beverage service standards and best practices.
  • Candidates with previous experience in hospitality operations, inventory control, and client relationship management will be highly preferred.
