Job Summary
The Deputy General Manager Projects will lead, manage, and deliver all Evolve Back Resorts development and expansion projects across India and overseas. The role is responsible for ensuring timely project completion within approved budgets while upholding the brand’s signature standards of excellence, innovation, sustainability, and design philosophy.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Execution
- Oversee end-to-end project implementation—from concept, planning, approvals, execution, monitoring, and handover.
- Ensure project delivery within defined timelines, quality benchmarks, and approved budgets.
- Collaborate with architects, consultants, contractors, and cross-functional teams across multiple project locations.
- Develop project schedules, procurement plans, manpower allocation, material requirements, and fund flow using project management tools.
Planning, Monitoring & Compliance
- Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and project budgets; monitor cost control and value engineering.
- Conduct regular project review meetings, prepare agendas, MoMs, MIS reports, timelines, and risk mitigation plans.
- Obtain permits, licenses, and statutory approvals; ensure adherence to building codes, safety norms, and legal regulations.
- Maintain documentation, records, and compliance standards.
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Build, lead, train, and retain a high-performing project team in collaboration with HR.
- Coordinate effectively with Procurement, Finance, Operations, Sales, HR, and Senior Leadership.
- Maintain strong, professional relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors ensuring long-term engagement.
Technical Oversight
- Work closely with civil, MEP, HVAC, fire safety, IT, interiors, landscaping, and sustainability teams.
- Drive innovation, technology adoption, sustainability, and cost-efficient solutions.
- Manage maintenance, AMC contracts, and upgrades of existing buildings when required.
Brand, Quality & Culture
- Uphold and reflect Evolve Back’s brand philosophy, values, design language, and guest-centric vision.
- Ensure architectural excellence, refined finishes, and signature resort aesthetics across projects.

- Technologically updated—project management software, digital tools, industry innovations.
- Ability to identify and groom future leaders within the team.
- Must adhere to SOPs, best practices, and process-driven execution.
Desired Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
- 12–20+ years of experience in project execution, preferably in premium hospitality or high-end infrastructure.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering projects within cost, quality, and time parameters.
