Job Summary

A dynamic F&B professional with a strong background in restaurant or outlet operations.

This role functions as the second in command in F&B operations, responsible for overseeing restaurant performance, ensuring exceptional guest service, and implementing strategies to drive profitability.

The ideal candidate is a team-oriented leader who fosters a culture of excellence through strong communication, adaptability, and meticulous attention to every detail of the dining experience.

To succeed, candidates should hold a degree or diploma in hospitality with at least 2 years of managerial experience in restaurant operations, backed by excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities of Restaurant Manager

  • Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure smooth service and high guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain consistent adherence to Hyatt Place brand standards and service quality benchmarks.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop restaurant staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Handle guest concerns promptly, ensuring effective service recovery when necessary.
  • Collaborate with culinary and service teams to deliver seamless restaurant operations.
  • Manage inventory, cost controls, staffing schedules, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Support F&B leadership teams in executing promotions, events, and special menus.
  • Build a positive and service-driven work environment that encourages teamwork and excellence.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management.
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience as a Restaurant Manager in a larger operation.
  • Strong operational, administrative, and interpersonal skills.
  • Banqueting experience is an added advantage.
