Job Summary
As an Area General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in executing Treebo’s mission of democratizing the joy of travel. You will oversee a defined geographical area and the hotel portfolio within it—ensuring outstanding guest experience, consistent product quality, and strong business performance. This mission-critical role requires a blend of operational excellence, relationship management, commercial acumen, and business development mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence
- Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple hotel properties, ensuring adherence to brand standards and service quality.
- Drive compliance with Treebo’s SOPs, health & safety guidelines, and hospitality benchmarks.
- Conduct audits and quality checks; drive corrective and preventive actions with hotel partners.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Treebo and hotel partners, ensuring smooth coordination and quick issue resolution.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and ensure timely, effective service recovery.
Business Development & Growth
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new hotel properties within the assigned area.
- Negotiate commercial terms and ensure complete alignment with Treebo’s operational model.
- Collaborate with central BD teams to support the launch and activation of new properties.
Sales & MICE
- Drive regional revenue performance by working closely with internal sales teams and property owners.
- Identify sales opportunities, including MICE leads, and support closure.
- Assist with pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and demand generation.
- Build relationships with local corporates, event organizers, and travel planners to push business to your portfolio.
Team & Partner Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop on-ground hotel teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
- Train hotel staff on brand values, SOPs, and service excellence.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with hotel owners and partners to foster collaboration and partnership success.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- 4–6 years of experience in hospitality management with proven success in operations and business development.
- Experience in property acquisition and/or hospitality sales.
- Exposure to MICE will be a significant advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong focus on execution, ownership, and accountability.
