Job Summary:
At Holiday Inn Express Chennai OMR Thoraipakkam, we believe in leading from the front. We’re looking for a Duty Manager who upholds high standards in service, cleanliness, and team productivity. You’ll be the driving force behind smooth daily operations ensuring every guest interaction is handled with efficiency, care, and the signature IHG warmth.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and team performance.
- Oversee front office activities, manage workload priorities, and maintain service excellence.
- Support and mentor your team to achieve targets and deliver consistent results.
- Engage authentically with guests, addressing concerns, queries, or complaints promptly.
- Act as the first point of contact during critical or emergency situations.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or equivalent; a college degree preferred.
- 2+ years of front desk or guest service leadership experience.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and motivational skills.
- Basic math proficiency and familiarity with hotel PMS systems (Opera preferred).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift heavy items.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
