Job Summary

The Site Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the cafeteria or client site. This position ensures that GoKhana’s service standards are consistently met by maintaining operational excellence, hygiene, and customer satisfaction. The Site Supervisor acts as the key liaison between GoKhana, client representatives, and vendor teams to ensure smooth coordination and superior on-site performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage day-to-day cafeteria operations, ensuring adherence to GoKhana’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between GoKhana, the client administration, and food vendors.
  • Oversee food preparation, service delivery, presentation, and portion control to maintain quality standards.
  • Enforce strict compliance with hygiene, cleanliness, and safety protocols across all areas.
  • Address and resolve user escalations, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain inventory records, daily sales reports, and ensure reconciliation of POS data with backend systems.
  • Conduct regular operational audits and share site performance reports with the central operations team.
  • Supervise attendance, discipline, and productivity of vendor staff deployed at the site.
  • Collaborate with the GoKhana tech and support teams to resolve app or POS-related issues efficiently.
  • Support and execute on-site events, menu updates, and promotional activities in coordination with internal and client teams.

Requirements

Experience:

  • 2–4 years in cafeteria management, hospitality, or food service operations.

Education:

  • Graduate degree preferred; Hotel Management or Hospitality background is an advantage.

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication abilities.
  • Hands-on experience with POS systems and basic mobile or web applications.
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain composure in fast-paced environments.
  • Sound understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.

Work Ethics:

  • Professional, detail-oriented, and customer-service-driven.

Flexibility:

  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or extended hours as per site requirements.

Working Conditions
