Job Summary
As a Sales Manager at Alila Diwa Goa, you will ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the Sales Department while adhering to Hyatt International’s corporate strategies and brand standards. Your role focuses on maximizing hotel revenue by driving profitable sales, strengthening client relationships, and achieving targeted business goals.
You will act as a dedicated sales specialist responsible for identifying opportunities, negotiating contracts, and managing key accounts. By understanding market demands and promoting the hotel’s offerings effectively, you will help position Alila Diwa Goa as a preferred choice for leisure, corporate, and group travelers. This role requires strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively to deliver exceptional results for employees, guests, and owners.
Responsibilities
- Implement sales strategies aligned with corporate guidelines to achieve revenue and profitability targets
- Manage existing client accounts and actively acquire new business opportunities
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize yield and occupancy
- Conduct sales calls, presentations, and property tours for prospective clients
- Collaborate with revenue, marketing, and operations teams to deliver seamless service experiences
- Maintain updated records of sales activities, forecasts, and performance reports
- Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to support strategic decision-making
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and industry activities
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality, Tourism Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Sales Manager or Sales Executive in hospitality
- Strong administrative, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build strong customer relationships and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
