Job Summary

SaffronStays is looking for a dynamic, motivated, and customer-centric Sales Executive to drive villa bookings and revenue across our portfolio of private vacation homes. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys speaking with guests, understanding their travel needs, and converting inquiries into successful stays. As a Sales Executive, you will handle both inbound and outbound leads, engage with customers across multiple channels, and provide personalized villa recommendations from our curated collection of 300+ luxury and premium homes.

This is a target-driven role that demands strong communication skills, quick thinking, and a high sense of ownership. Your ability to build trust with guests, provide accurate information, and follow up effectively will play a direct role in the brand’s revenue growth. You will serve as a key point of contact for customers while working closely with internal teams to ensure seamless booking experiences.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Management & Sales Conversion

    • Handle inbound leads from calls, WhatsApp, social media, and the company website.
    • Reach out to potential guests who have shown interest in upcoming vacations, weekends, or special occasions.
    • Understand guest requirements—location preference, group size, travel dates, events, budget, and villa amenities.
    • Recommend the most suitable SaffronStays properties and highlight unique selling points.
    • Drive high conversion ratios by responding promptly, persuasively, and professionally.
    • Follow up consistently to close bookings while maintaining a warm guest experience.

2. Customer Interaction & Relationship Building

    • Build rapport with guests by communicating clearly, confidently, and courteously.
    • Provide detailed, accurate information regarding villa features, policies, pricing, and availability.
    • Manage objections or concerns with patience and solutions-oriented communication.
    • Ensure customers feel valued, well-informed, and excited about their stay.
    • Maintain long-term guest relationships to encourage repeat bookings and referrals.

3. Negotiation & Revenue Management

    • Understand pricing structures, seasonal rates, and promotional offers.
    • Negotiate with guests while maintaining profitability and adhering to brand policies.
    • Upsell villa categories, add-ons, or extended stays to increase booking value.
    • Suggest alternative villas when preferred properties are unavailable, ensuring high retention of inquiries.

4. Coordination With Internal Teams

    • Work closely with the operations and concierge teams to confirm villa readiness, special arrangements, and guest requests.
    • Coordinate for events such as birthdays, anniversaries, corporate offsites, and celebrations.
    • Ensure accurate booking handover to the backend team with complete details for seamless guest check-in.

5. Reporting, Documentation & CRM

    • Update CRM systems or Google Sheets with lead status, follow-up notes, call outcomes, and booking details.
    • Track daily conversions, pending inquiries, cancellations, and customer trends.
    • Share performance reports with senior management and participate in weekly sales meetings.
    • Ensure thorough documentation for compliance and audit requirements.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident in speaking with diverse customer profiles—from couples to families to corporates.
  • Strong sales instincts with the ability to listen, understand, and influence decisions.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable handling high volumes of inquiries.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passionate salesperson who enjoys connecting people with great travel experiences.

Must-Haves

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, telesales, customer service, hospitality, or travel.
  • Comfortable with phone-based communication and structured follow-ups.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, Google Sheets, or basic reporting formats.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends/holidays (rotational weekly offs).
