As a Reservation Executive, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring every booking is handled with precision, professionalism, and warmth. Key Responsibilities
- Handle all reservation inquiries efficiently via phone, email, and online channels.
- Accurately record, update, and process room bookings in the property management system.
- Coordinate with sales, front office, and revenue teams to manage room allocations and maximize occupancy.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, ensuring clarity and satisfaction at every step.
- Monitor booking trends and provide input to the Reservations Manager for yield management and forecasting.
- Verify billing instructions and ensure deposit and payment policies are followed correctly.
- Assist with group bookings, travel agent queries, and corporate reservations.
- Maintain an updated database of guest profiles and reservation histories for personalized service.
- Handle special requests and VIP bookings with care and confidentiality.
- Support the team in implementing upselling and cross-selling initiatives to boost revenue.
- Ensure all reservation correspondence and filing are managed daily according to hotel standards.
- Maintain clear communication with all departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality / Tourism / Hotel Management
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Reservations or Front Office role within a 4- or 5-star property
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with PMS or CRS systems (Opera, etc.)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks under pressure
- A proactive team player with a passion for guest service and hotel excellence
