Job Summary
The Operations Manager at SaffronStays plays a pivotal leadership role in ensuring premium guest experiences across a portfolio of private vacation homes in the Alibaug region. This role demands a dynamic, commercially aware professional who can seamlessly balance operational excellence, people management, stakeholder communication, and service quality.
As part of a rapidly growing Micro Hospitality brand, the Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day management of villas, ensuring each home consistently meets SaffronStays’ standards of cleanliness, ambience, comfort, and hospitality. The role requires close collaboration with multiple departments—including housekeeping, F&B, maintenance, guest relations, and vendor management—to deliver an experience that is both homely and professionally managed.
The Operations Manager will act as the primary bridge between villa homeowners, guests, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining positive relationships. They are responsible for implementing SOPs, managing costs, monitoring inventory, optimizing revenue, and driving guest satisfaction. Regular inspections, timely decision-making, and the ability to foresee and resolve operational challenges are key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of all assigned villas, ensuring they meet SaffronStays’ standards for cleanliness, ambience, maintenance, and guest readiness.
- Conduct regular villa inspections to ensure proper upkeep, hygiene, safety compliance, and service preparedness of on-ground teams.
- Support Heads of Departments in implementing SOPs across housekeeping, F&B, guest experience, and maintenance functions.
- Ensure consistent service delivery and coordinate with teams to address operational issues promptly.
- Manage guest experience end-to-end—pre-arrival, during stay, and post-departure—to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Handle guest escalations efficiently and lead service recovery efforts to resolve issues and maintain brand credibility.
- Review guest feedback regularly and collaborate with teams to drive continuous improvements.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise villa teams; identify training needs and support staff development and performance
- Foster a culture of accountability, discipline, and warm hospitality across all operational staff.
- Monitor operational budgets, optimize costs, and oversee vendor coordination, purchasing, and inventory control.
- Ensure timely procurement and maintain adequate, high-quality stock levels across villas.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with villa homeowners; address concerns and provide operational updates
- Ensure all villas comply with hygiene, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare operational reports, track KPIs, and share insights with senior management for performance evaluation.
- Be available to address emergencies or urgent operational challenges and ensure timely resolution.
- Support new villa onboarding, readiness checks, and adherence to brand standards during launches.

Education
