Job Summary
The Guest Service Associate F&B Service plays a vital role in delivering warm, personalized, and memorable dining experiences. The position ensures exceptional service standards, guest satisfaction, cleanliness, and smooth restaurant operations while reflecting the brand’s hospitality values.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service & Experience
- Welcome guests, escort them to tables, present menus, and guide them through dining options.
- Engage politely and professionally, answering queries and accommodating special requests.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring dietary and allergy considerations are recorded.
Service Delivery
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with established service standards.
- Maintain presentation, portion control, and temperature of served items.
- Recommend and upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and revenue.
Dining Area Management
- Set up tables with appropriate cutlery, linens, crockery, and condiments.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the dining and service areas.
- Clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently between guest sittings.
Guest Satisfaction & Issue Resolution
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and courteously.
- Handle feedback, concerns, and complaints with patience, professionalism, and problem-solving.
Team Collaboration
- Coordinate service flow with kitchen, bar, and fellow service teams.
- Support colleagues to ensure seamless, timely, and consistent service delivery.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Follow hygiene, sanitation, grooming, and safety standards at all times.
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and service procedures.
- Report equipment issues or safety risks to supervisors immediately.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma/Graduate in Hotel Management (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude, grooming standards, and guest-first mindset.
- Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and work in a team.
- Basic knowledge of food, beverages, and restaurant service etiquette.
