Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our culinary team. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare food items according to accepted quality standards and restaurant specifications.
- Ensure mise en place is completed on time and stocked based on sales forecasts.
- Present and plate dishes consistently as per brand guidelines.
- Support training and development of new and existing kitchen staff.
- Maintain strict kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
- Handle proper storage, labeling, and usage of food supplies to minimize wastage and control costs.
- Work closely with the Sous Chef to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
- Ensure food quality optimization and high guest satisfaction.
- Assist in menu planning, inventory control, scheduling, and ordering kitchen supplies.
- Work independently and collaboratively to manage priorities effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of utensils, smallware, and equipment during the shift.
- Address recurrent problems or customer complaints professionally.
- Assist the Sous Chef in preparing duty rosters.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by kitchen leadership.
