Key Responsibilities

Revenue & Market Insight

  • Identify and convert new reservation sales opportunities to exceed revenue goals.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to craft winning sales strategies.
  • Implement effective yield management and same-day selling procedures to maximize revenue.
  • Develop tailored booking solutions that align with guest preferences and business objectives.

Reservations Operations

  • Handle all reservation inquiries accurately and efficiently, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Leverage upselling and negotiation techniques to drive incremental revenue.
  • Maintain accurate reservation data, monitor cancellations and no-shows, and manage waitlists.
  • Collaborate with Sales & Events teams for group bookings, rooming lists, and documentation.
  • Prepare reports, proposals, and contracts to support daily operations.

Customer Service Excellence

  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences aligned with Sheraton and Marriott brand standards.
  • Foster long-term guest relationships through personalized service and follow-ups.
  • Address guest concerns promptly and implement service recovery strategies when needed.
  • Lead by example in maintaining professionalism and a customer-first approach.

Team Support & Leadership

  • Support the Reservations Manager in training, supervising, and mentoring team members.
  • Promote a collaborative work culture that encourages high performance and accountability.
  • Assist with scheduling and workload management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Utilize Marriott systems and internal tools to streamline reservations and reporting.
  • Contribute to operational planning, reporting, and data accuracy across departments.

Candidate Profile

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of experience in sales, guest services, or front office operations. OR
  • 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or a related field with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
